Application Methodology of
Cold Storage with INSUboard
A vapour barrier comprising of a bituminous layer or a layer of HDPE sheet of 300 microns over PCC is installed after clearing the floor surface.
Place INSUboard of desired thickness, so that the joints are staggered to meet the desired U Value.
A layer of Geotextile fabric polypropylene based 300 GSM to be loosely laid over INSUboard with an overlap of 75 to 100 mm on the longitudinal and transverse direction.
Finally, reinforced concrete layer to be provided over the geotextile layer.
